Book Lovers

We meet at Friends Meeting House, Bath Place on the first Friday of every month at 10.00am. Coffee and biscuits are served until 10.25. The meeting starts promptly at 10.30am. We normally finish between 12 and 12.15.

This group has been meeting for about 18 years. The programme is planned in advance for the year. Members are invited to bring an extract from a book on the topic (prose or poetry) to read to the group. Others may prefer to sit and listen. Each year we find one or two visiting speakers or members volunteer to talk on a particular book or writer.
